The Municipality of Baška is situated on the south-eastern part of the island and it comprises the settlements of Baška, Batomalj, Draga Bašćanska and Jurandvor.

Baška is certainly recognizable for its Baška tablet, the first written Croatian monument found at Jurandvor in the mid 19th century, in the Church of St Lucy. Thanks to its natural 1800 - meter - long pebble beach, which is one of Adriatic’s biggest and most beautiful pebble beaches, Baška is one of the most desirable destinations on the Croatian Adriatic coast.

It owes its continuous development and prosperity also to its numerous restaurants, luxurious hotels, private accommodation as well as to the variety of sports activities on offer and to its hiking paths.
